Is it Spring? Really?

Castle Rock ColoradoI can't help but pout. I have been noticing all the pictures everyone is posting with blossoms budding out on the trees, and tulips and daffodils bursting colors of the rainbow. And here I sit looking out my window wondering if we will ever see the signs of spring? Even the fish are getting tired of hibernating and ready for some warmer weather!

Yes, I'm definately having a serious case of cabin fever right now. I know that in about two months, I'll be tired of fighting the weeds, mowing the lawn, and keeping the pond clear of algae. ***sighs*** But right now, I'm getting pretty sick of the snow! Looks like the kids will be hunting eggs in doors again this year.

I am certain that when all this snow melts, we'll see green! FINALLY!

Ruth ~ it was gorgeous out today.  Were you able to enjoy the outdoors today?  I know the snow is still here in some places, but it was so sunny!

Ruth - You appear to be a little behind with spring coming - but likely not far off.  The snow on the ground still makes for some beautiful pictures!

Hi Ruth, It's supposed to be around 70 degrees today in Denver ( that's what I heard anyway) So spring is coming! This time of year, we get super itchy to push it along and that is the hardest to bear :-)  I'm with you, blossoms and buds in other places can make us pout! LOL!

Dawn, We did have sun, but it wasn't enough to melt all our snow (we live in the foothills).

Myrl, You know the expression, "absense makes the heart grow fonder"? I think it applies to snow, too!

Mary, I'm not sure I heard this right, but did they say 80 tomorrow??? Trying not to get my hopes up!

Hi Ruth ~ hope you're well!  I'm sure you'll be very happy today ~ we're supposed to reach +/- 78 degrees!!

Jane, sounds like rain in your area today, huh? Sunshine here, but too windy to enjoy.

Mary, It's been so long thinking about shorts that I'm not even sure I remember where I put them last! Guess that's what spring cleaning is for!!

Kerry, 78 degrees followed by 82, and guess what? We STILL have patches of snow! But in the heat of the summer in Denver, we'll be enjoying cool afternoon breezes up here. At least that's what I keep telling myself...
