You are so right.  Sometimes we think people know what we want.  We need to ask for things in life, and yes, believe we are going to get them.

Good article. We learn a lot to pass on to our clients from Active Rain Blogs. Best Regards,

Nice Post Ruth. We absolutely should be asking for business. I get so frustrated when clients say, "Well I didn't want to bother you, I know you are busy." It is my job, please bother me.

Ruth, this is really a simple and powerful idea at the same time. It is amazing what happens when you just ask.

Typically,if you don't ask you won't receive.  Happy New Year to you!

Tina, has it ever happened to you when you knew you wanted a certain service or product, but lost the contact info and HOPED they would call back? And they never did??? Happens to me often.

Excellent timing, thought provoking as well, it made me recall what i said at the end of my last few meetings, and what to improve in 2010.

Oh Ruth, what a terrific post.  It's important to ask for the business - some like the "soft sell" but eventually you HAVE to ask!!

On another note, I still believe, and was heart broken when my grandkids told me the Santa in Red Feather was a fake Santa!! Geesh- kids these days! :-)  Excellent post and idea Ruth!  Great job!
